It is quite a nice old pagoda, in the chunky style more typical of Thailand or Sri Lanka. But it is not in very good condition these days and just sits in amongst fields and houses, which is a bit odd.
Just a ways from the old city walls, this pagoda sits within the demolished ruins of old housing. It dominates the scarred neighbourhood and in a way it presents to the tourist a tragic picture we often see in China.
