This area to the west of the Dragon Pavilion forms part of the Long Ting park. Long Ting itself is much more interesting than the Millennium addition, which is mainly just a boating lake.

There are a lot of lovely old things to see in Kaifeng but the Millennium Park is just packed with people, very corny, very fake.... maybe with kids it is worth a few hours. We were there in peak August week so maybe after August...More

... can you see a 1200-year old ancient capital, half-demolished, to make way for a theme park about... itself. A post-modern marvel, where the fake is real and the real is fake. Snarkiness aside, you can have a good time here, if you come with...More

This was the place I enjoyed the most as there were so many things to see. Every part of the park, there are things to see. With beautiful scenery and real props, all staff working there were in their Dynasty costumes, playing different roles, acting and...More

The place is amazing (if they were rollercoaster there, i'd say it's Song Dynasty Historical Disneyland) and if you want to fully experience it -- and check out every show from the list, I suggest spending two days there. Also, for students, there's a cheaper...More

Normally I am not much of a theme park fan. But I enjoyed this one because it is not about rides but a town constructed like a Song Dynasty town of Kaifeng heritage with shops and street performers, and even a sea battle attacking the...More

The key to enjoying your experience here is to know what to expect. First, this park is a complete reconstruction. None of it is original, so don't be expecting there to be relics and artefacts. The park is based on an ancient scroll painting that...More

Surprised at the lack of places to eat around the lake. Next time, I'd take the boat ride up the canal. But for the small boats they look 30 years old.. So be careful. Lots of old guys playing games or exercises.

A unique ancient theme amusement park. Fun for the young. The highlight of the park is the night performance which requires a separate ticket (see below). When you enter the park, go to the visitor's pavilion to get a map and time schedule of day...More
