小九寨是牡丹江一處不錯的景觀。園內設施齊備，設有電瓶車，老人也能輕鬆遊玩。景觀數處，並不重複，小橋流水，瀑布廊橋。山頂新蓋的博物館，有大量老照片，老物件，記錄了東北抗日，座山雕，八女投江等歷史。沿路有一些野豬，野雞，山兔，狗熊等野生動物。

一個開發中的林場，已經開發了大半部分，還有一少部分還正在建設中。屬於林區裏，風景不錯，到處都是樹木，景區裏有電瓶車可供使用，如果不願意坐車還有一些步行路，到處都有指示牌很方便
