Qinghui Garden is Shunde's prime tourist attraction. It is also one of the four major Cantonese gardens in Guangdong. The former residence of a Qing-era literati, it is nicely restored to its former grandeur. Wandering around the pleasant lakes and houses is enjoyable. There are also some informative exhibitions about the imperial examination system.

Beautifully preserved garden and buildings. There are stepping stones in the water garden and they let you use them (that would not happen in North America).
Very busy. Very little parking. Pay using a QR.
Close to lots of shops and restaurants.
A must if you enjoy history and gardens.

Qinghui Garden is a water park in Shunde District Fengjian Foshan. It's in the middle of the residential area. You will see the very traditional way of the villagers. You can buy traditional food into converted residential house to a small shop. Surely you will enjoy a day visit on this place.

A very beautiful, classic, well-maintained garden, amazing traditional Ming-Dynasty architecture, and love the Koi in the ponds.

Shunde Qinghui Park is one of the four classical gardens in Guangdong. It is a fine combination of traditional Cantonese style and typical garden in South China.

As with many gardens of this type, the views unfold slowly so many sights are revealed one at a time. Some beautiful glass windows and interesting ponds and rock works. We were there on a weekend so it was busy with families. Much better to enjoy on a peaceful weekday.

Very nice park with lots of Lingnan traditional design. It's one of the must-go places when you come visit Shunde. Good to go with friends and family. Not too crowded either. You can go across the street to enjoy some lovely steam milk after the visit.

Chose a bad day for a visit-a national holiday, which meant it was pretty crowded, my bad, I can imagine it being a lovely and quiet place during the week. Plenty of historical buildings with original furniture and features. Stunning gardens and a lake. Perfect place for contemplation or reading.

Remnants of Ming Dynasty beautiful deep green waters and stone rockery forests. Today, it is a blend of the cultures of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The gardens are of Lingnan style. The architecture of the buildings and bridges is also amazingly beautiful. The garden was built as a mansion of Huang Shijun, a scholar of the Ming Dynasty. There are lots of Koi fish in the waters. There are amazing rock formations, stepping stones, walkways, and tunnels.

I traveled to the park by taking the Guangzhou Metro Guangfo Line to the last stop in Foshan and taking bus K37 to the Qinghui Garden Station. From the Tianhe area of Guangzhou, it took me about 80 minutes, and a cost of under US$3.00, to get to this beautiful garden.
