A small, but well preserved historic site and museum that is well worth the stop. Volunteers are very knowledgeable. Well done display illustrating a glimpse into the past of the life saving efforts and employees working at these stations. Entrance fee is by donation suggestion.

This is a great thing to do and is a must see while down in Obx. It's a great museum that has live reenactment of life saving drills and still has original equipment used. Great and fun.

We learned lots from this tour. There was a short film and a house tour, we loved all the décor in the house. Saw the old boat that the men used to rescue people with. Loved looking out from the top. Great views. Very informative!...More
