The museum is closed and being rebuilt. The grave and plaques are still there. Interesting historical site.

The medicine trail is very well done. Learn how the cherokee utilized little known plants as medicine and food. And see the plants for yourself while walking a shaded hilly short trail.

A very moving burial site for an unsung hero of our country. Take time to reflect on how we have behaved in the past and think about how we can continue to improve. Thanks to the folks who maintain this memborial to a great American.
