My husband and I visited here in 1970 after coming home from the Daytona 500 in February. As we pulled up to the garage area, here comes Richard out the door to greet us. What an awesome experience. Of course we got a picture and he showed us the garage and then went on his way. We went back this... More

The day we visited The King himself happens to stop in. So cool to meet him. The kids loved all the cars and we happened to see them working on some gokarts (my kids race too). Can't wait to get out autographed pictures back!

For car lovers, it's a no-brainer to visit this museum. Don't expect any signs coming from the South East, from Siler City up 421, because there aren't any. But you will find the museum, it is there. Lots of parking. You pay for tickets inside the main entrance. I was delighted to discover, since I'm not the car sports lover... More

Cars and Trophies and History of the Petty family. I really enjoyed the guns also. Great showroom of all of Richard's, and his family's guns. Really nice.

There is so much to see here. Lots of Petty's own race cars throughout his career. (They rotate these out.) Also a lot of other classic cars. A huge collection of collectible rifles and hand guns. Trophies, art work etc. Richard himself shows up from time to time, so make sure you take your camera, and anything you may want... More

Pulling into the drive you see the main house, the Museum entrance, and a few non description out buildings. You step into the store and there is memorabilia moderately priced to high end. Then you enter the museum and there is so much to see, the History, the Awards, the car from Cars, I found so much that I did... More

First off, the museum is in Level Cross, NC, and the place is wonderful. It's full of Petty history, from the garage to the cars. The people there are so friendly, I wanna go back! Richard was there signing for the for 200 attendees on Petty Day, but driving there from so far North, I'm never to first to get... More

My husband and I waited over an hour, met his daughter and got to meet Richard Petty. It was by chance he was there but he didn't hesitate to sign autographs and take pictures with the 10 fans that waited for him. His daughter said he loves all of the fans and enjoys them. Well worth the drive and made... More
