We thought this place was going to be more of an open market. It was actually a collection of somewhat expensive restaurants and a few shops. There is a big grassy area that kids can play on while their parents relax and enjoy outdoor seating.

There are many unique and great local shops here. You have a wonderful variety of food and an open area for the kids or dogs to play. The atmosphere is incredible and relaxing! Check their website for awesome events that draw in the crowds.

This has always been a regular destination for us. Great variety of dining and shopping, easy underground parking, and often they have good programming. Child and pet friendly. Also fun pokemon stop!

I'd recommend the Renaissance as well. For a less expensive option, try one in Wake Forest. Only about 6- 9 miles away from Lafayette village. There is a Tuesday morning that you pass as well on Falls of Neuse near Wake... More
