We enjoy coming here to see the selections by the local farmers. I have been coming here since 1999 and have never been disappointed. They have fruit, Christmas trees, Veggies, Honey, and fruit trees.

We were afraid that the market would be empty, but it was not. There were lots of market stands with wonderful vegetables and fruits . We bought a Camellia plant, butternut squash, radishes and tomatoes. We had lunch at NC Seafood which had perfect catfish sandwiches. No crowds and wonderful day activity.

I am not going to tell anyone about the State Farmers Market in Raleigh because it is already one of NC 's most deservedly top Attractions. What I am going to tell you is that Nurserys who grow trees & plants for you to plant bid in a lottery for a Station at Farmers Market with the last day of... More

I'm not from North Carolina. I like to visit farmers markets to see what the community offers. Really liked the seasonal offerings like cotton or azalea wreaths. Also enjoyed buying local produce and desserts to share at Thanksgiving dinner. Worth a visit. Well done.

There are great choices. My suggestion would be to compare prices because the booths toward the entrance are more expensive than those towards the middle or the end.

We enjoyed roaming the Farmers Market, sampling goodies, and enjoying homemade items for sale. It was a fun place to visit. I wish we'd had a different car because we would have purchased some new plants for the yard. It was nice that the market is open every day and not just on Saturday morning.

We have bough fresh fruits and veggies, flowers and plants from the vendors here, all North Carolinian farmers. The best part about going here is stopping for lunch at the State Farmers Market Restaurant, which offers authentic Southern-style country home cooking. It is decorated with antique farm implements and—Wolfpack fans rejoice—lots of NCSU culture. There's usually a line, but it... More

We always make it to Raleigh in time to eat lunch at the State Farmers Market because the food is just great. I had pork chops and my wife had chicken salad--wow. The side dishes are fresh and well prepared. You do not leave this place empty. The service is as good as the food.. Don't miss this eating experience.

For the cost of gas, time to drive and traffic to deal with the local produce stand near me is as fresh, more convenient and a wash on cost if not even less expensive factoring in the gas.

Stopped by to buy some produce after a work meeting. They have literally any and everything you could want here. I spent the better part of two hours looking at everything, trying things, and spending money. Tons of school children here too, looked to be very organized (doing a scavenger hunt) and having fun in a safe place.
