The village is adjacent to the Inn and offers dining (casual and semi-formal), shops, swimming, and the like. We weren't looking for something to keep us busy every minute of every day, so for us, there was plenty to do.

Late to the bandwagon here with an answer, but Fearrington is not an age-restricted community. There are a number of young families that live here along with a thriving retirement community.
