Relatively easy hike, approximately 1.5 miles round trip. There are parts that are a little steep but the trail is reasonably clear and wide. The waterfall was a trickle compared to Looking Glass Falls but it's neat that you can get behind and underneath it.

After we left Looking Glass Falls we decided we wanted to see another waterfall. The next easiest on the list was Moore Cove Falls. We started in on the .7 (1.4 roundtrip) hike to the waterfall. For our family of 4 it was an easy hike, but lots of steep inclines. Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Once... More

Very young hike, nice also in the winter. About 1 hour of very easy walk. It's nice you can be behind the waterfall l.

The walk behind waterfall was barely a trickle due to a drought but a bridge nearby was so gorgeous in the fall colors, it was one of my favorite photo ops of our trip.

We took our 6 and 8 year old. The hike is on the easy side. Not the most gorgeous waterfall but what is neat is you can walk behind in like a cave area. Kids loved it. Very mucky. Need boots for sure.

We have been to many falls great and small. Some with a lot of water and some like this one with very little. I gave it average because I have been to many nicer ones but this one is easy to access via an easy path. Great for those who cannot do moderate or difficult hikes. I am in my... More

This is a nice hike to a pretty waterfall. We hit this one early so it wasn't crowded. The trail is only .7 mile one way and is an out and back. There is limited parking on the side of the road. The trail starts at a nice bridge where the road goes over the river. This makes for a... More

This hike does have a few hills, but is rated as "easiest" by the park. About 3/4 of a mile each each way to the falls, with a small area to have a picnic if you'd like. The falls themselves were fairly thin (as seen in the picture) but with some recent rain, you might get more. Either way, we... More

My wife and I and a female friend were visiting Brevard and Pisgah Forest is a regular stop. We first stopped at the ranger, information center and spoke to a female ranger about the different waterfalls in the area. We had been to Looking Glass Falls, which has an easy access. She assured us that the trail to Moore Cove... More
