This was so much fun to hike and not strenuous at all. The views are amazing and it is also great for families. Their are a lot of places to sit and take nature in and enjoy a snack of lunch.

There is a narrow twisty drive going up to the parking lot . On a busy day there is a line halfway down the mountain . Don’t get discouraged ! It is well worth the experience .

Driving along the highway, we could see this mount from quite a distance. We found a scenic view pull-off for it, so we stopped to get a few pics. I wish we had time to go on th mount, but we were only passing through.

Long winding road that takes quite awhile to reach the top, but WELL WORTH it! There are a couple of bluffs to look over and photograph.

Campsites are open year around. Although I did find out last winter that during inclement weather the affected state parks will close.

I do not know of any sites with hookups on the mountain in the park, but there is a campsite about 1/4 mile downhill from the gate with full hookups.
