An absolute classic

Wonderful course, a bit pricey, but a good fun caddie "John" truly made the experience for me fantastic, food at the bar was fantastic, atmosphere great.

A great test of golf with so much history. Incredible staff, pro shop and memorabilia on display. If you go, take a caddie and ask for Keith. He is spot on with his course knowledge and never misses a read on the greens!

It is quite simply that good. Was in great shape considering it was early March when we played. Our two caddies both knew their stuff and made it an even better experience. We played it as part of the Titleist Package which made it a better value.

Play here in February, catch great whether 70. Staff I'd great!!!! Very nice course, I think it's a little over rated and priced. It's not easy very difficult to get good birdie opportunities.

This course is in an elite class with very few. The course is maintained second to none and is as beautiful as what I expected. Just the history in itself is something to be amazed by. From Payne's iconic 1999 U.S Open win to the course design by Donald Ross, you can feel the history and love of the game... More

I'm fortunate to have played "The Deuce" a handful of times as I live at Mid South Club in nearby Southern Pines. It's nice to have MSC members/friends who also belong to Pinehurst as I am usually asked to fill out a foursome a couple of times a year if lucky. With a "22" handicap, I am far from a... More

As a Pinehurst member, I play the other courses regularly as they are easy to book tee times. #2 is in another league and is so unique and beautiful, that it's a treat to play even for members. It's really hard to stick on the greens, and the punishment for missing is pretty severe, but if you can forget the... More

The Duece, Pinehurst #2, won't scare you when you stand on the tee box. You can readily see how you should play each hole. The challenge begins when you stay in the fairway and look at the green. Aim for the middle of the green and hope for the best. Given the turtle back greens, any shot slight of line... More
