This has to be one of the best beaches on the east coast. Totally undeveloped and unspoiled. It was a short walk from the parking lot, maybe 150 yards. It seemed like our own private beach it is so isolated.

Our family of six had a SUPER visit here last week. Having lifeguards on duty inspired additional confidence in our boogie-boarding 8 year old grandson. The beach sand as you wade into the ocean is especially smooth and free of shells-at least where we were...More

Beautiful and not crowded beach. Walking distance from the airport. We enjoyed swimming and sunning all afternoon.

Easy access with plenty of parking, changing rooms, bathrooms, outdoor shower, water fountains and lifeguards. If you continue up the road a mile or so there is a neat pony enclosure on the left.

We enjoyed these beaches. Clean water and sand. We went seashell hunting. Found some nice ones! Possible fossil too. Uncrowded, friendly visitors. Only warning is that is was very rough. Watch young kids carefully. Water temperature was outstanding. Like bath water. Lots of porpoises to...More

My husband and I spent an afternoon at this beach... It is beautiful! Expansive beach and great surf! The dunes and sea grasses are lovely against a background of blue sky and luminous clouds!

This is a very nice beach. Of course the lifeguards make it much safer. Ocracoke is extremely laid back and a fun place to visit.

Just totally unspoiled, gorgeous sand. Nice ramp to and from beach. Shower and changing facilities. Not crowded because the island isn't in general. Amazing amazing beach.

I stayed at Ocracoke Harbor Inn. The prices were decent. They have golf carts and bicycles for rent. The ladies that work the desk there are BEYOND fantastic!
