The visitor's center had a lot of information and the staff was very helpful. They offered suggestions of things to do and offered to call to reserve a squad car ride for us. Couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Told us to come back...More

We loved stopping here before we headed out for Mayberry. The guy helping us was so nice and showed us a lot of things on a map to do. It is very small but they have lots of brochures and a couple of bathrooms.

They have tons of memorabilia in a 20 by 25 room. I believe it could really be better with a larger setup

It is small but they have several costumes from the series characters. Also some of Andy Griffiths memorabilia from his other work like Matlock. I was surprised that not one emmy was in the museum with the boat load that the series received. Caution with...More

The people at the center are very welcoming. Tons of information on things to do in the area. They will show you a map and step you through it showing you the location of all the highlights in the city.
