Since I grew up watching the Andy Griffith show, I enjoyed seeing how he got his start in acting, show business as well as information about him before he was a star. The museum has good parking facilities and is just outside the downtown area...More

Cool little museum with lots of behind the scenes information and memorabilia from The Andy Griffith Show, Matlock and various other movies and plays. Worth the visit within itself is the display of the original courthouse doors from the actual show set, a great photo...More

A nice review of the life of Andy Griffith; props, history, etc. Easy parking. Also, there is a small museum on Cheng and Eng Bunker, the Siamese twins who lived in the area before Andy Griffith (LOL)

What a collection of items. Teased up just looking. Pictures, film clips, clothing worn on set, props etc. Small museum, but worth 8.00 to get it. Enjoyed it very much.

Small museum that's worth the visit in town, but nothing spectacular. Great history of Andy Griffith and memorabilia if you're into that sort of thing.

Loved seeing the actual clothing and props from the sets of the Andy Griffith Show. Never heard Mr. Griffith sing in his early career but there is a booth that you can see a movie clip of him singing. Wonderful museum to bring the family.

Every visitor should stop by the museum and visit. Not only does it have Andy Griffith information but others if you go inside and if you go at the right time you can also stay and listen to some music or maybe see a play.
