I really enjoyed this park and hikes. I was a little nervous with the 3 year old. Held his hand tightly to make sure he didn't get too close to the edge. 11 year old did great but was a little nervous looking down. All so worth it gore the experience, scenery, and views.

A must see!! The view is amazing and not very far from Mt. Airy- maybe 15 min. You can see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Spectacular views. We loved our visit!!

Took a drive up the mountain on a trip as a last minute decision. Beautiful mountain in NC and I belive it was first surveyed by Thomas Jefferson's father.

Amazing viewpoints. It has some hiking trails. It was really nice seeing the sun go down. The change of color in the skies was wonderful.

Did not go on any hiking trails because had young children but went on short trails and overlooks and we were not disappointed. Did not hurt that we had beautiful weather. Hope to go again one day when kids... More

Absolutely love Pilot Mountain. The state park is great to visit. Great views of Pinnacle, King, Sauratown Mountain. The local area has great food and great hospitality. Car shows, May Fest, Parades, it is an All American, old town.
