We took two children aged 5 months and 22 months. Of course the older child was more into the interactive playing areas but the youngest child was alert and interested in the vivid colors all around. We initially felt we’d spend a few hours there and ended up with being there over 5 hours. The play areas were clean, well organized and easy access to restrooms with changing tables. We noticed the staff replacing play items to the correct interaction stations happily interacting with families. The atmosphere was relaxed and happy with many levels of interactions available. Safe also.

A few hours turning into 5 hours is the best compliment! Thank you for noticing how much we care about cleanliness and safety - It is even more of a focus these days with COVID19. We hope to see your family again soon. Thank you for leaving us a great review!

I was impressed by the variety of offerings in the museum and the quality of the stations. My grandchildren loved it and it was so fun to watch them play and try new things.

Yes, it's finally open!!! What a great job they have done with this. Great place for younger kids to visit, probably 3rd. grade down to crawlers. They have a grocery store, vet, dentists office, kids cooking area, small climbing wall, mini military "camp", huge crawling area and closed off todder area. SO many things for the kids to do, they LOVE it.

They also have a really big area to hold a birthday party that is separate, but attached to all the fun stuff. Far bigger and better than I ever imagined it would be. They even a have a card you can buy with multiple punches if you are going to visit more than once at a discounted price.

Seriously, Jacksonville has been waiting a long time for a place like this and it's finally open!!

Having been in other children’s museums, I didn’t expect a lot. Wow, was I surprised! There is something here for children 2-9!
Each section provides a new experience, from baking pizza, being a veterinarian, mountain climber to grocery shopping!

Visited with my two year old grandson. This place has everything for children of all ages and abilities. Fun and interactive play areas with a variety of activities - some physical, some sensory. Multiple areas of space for creative play. Available for parties on Sunday’s 😀. All
Worth the price for yearly membership if you live in the Jacksonville area, and a great value for daily play.

We attended a birthday party here and our 4 yr old had a blast! THhere are a ton of different activity zones for all different ages- kitchen, play gym with ellipticals, giant foam building blocks, etc. The kids definitely had plenty to play with and would’ve stayed for longer without being bored. That being said, I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t an actual museum. I guess I had expected an interactive space along with educational displays and artifacts like we’ve been to in the past. Don’t get me wrong, this was great- but be prepared for a great playcenter vice a dinosaur exhibit or something similar. This would be great for stay at home parents to expand their little ones’ minds and have friendly indoor play.
We did not pay admission since the party had it covered, so I’m not sure the normal price. I would not want to pay more than $7-8 for a young child. The staff made sure the place was clean, but I didn’t see them interacting with kids or hosting activities, which is what I would expect for a heavier entry fee.
Overall, great place! We will go again.

Thank you so much for your detailed review! You're right: Our children's museum is more of an open-ended space for people to play, imagine, create, learn and explore. No dinosaur bones, but we did add an Apiary & Farm Exhibit to help kids connect the thought of food with bees since you last visited! Regular admission to Zing Zumm is $8/person over 1 year old. Babies 12 months and younger are free. Your admission helps keep our community sponsored, non-profit children's museum running: Thank you for your support! Memberships for families are available now, too! Learn more here: zingzumm.org/become-a-member We are so glad you guys had a great time, and we hope to see your family again soon!

I have two littles, 3&5. They had an absolutely blast. They played all day. The museum was clean and had plenty to do!! They had everything from pizza making set up to a climbing wall. Puppet theatre, dress up, fishing, dentist office, vet office, exercise!! Such a great variety! Can’t wait to go back.
