This is a nice neighborhood park. Nice shaded playground plus some swings. 6 tennis courts. Not too fancy and not worth a drive to try out a new park but great if you're local to Huntersville.

Small neighborhood park across the street from Huntersville Elementary.
Has a covered Picnic Area with Grills, a well maintained and safely engineered Play Area for young Children and climbing sets etc and for the older kids and adult, a set of nice lighted Tennis Courts.
Covers much of the basics required to make it a nice family oriented park. Not far from Discovery Place for Kids either.

Was staying in the area due to Hurricane Matthew, and happened upon this park and playground. My infant loved it! A lot to do in a small area - two nice playground equipment sets, for older and for younger kids, a picnic area, a swingset, tennis courts and benches around the area to sit and keep an eye out on them. Infant wasn't bored at all, and could have stayed there longer! Some graffiti scratches on slide, but nothing too obvious. Dirt and mulch surface, not a rubberized mat, FYI (but what's a little dirt if you're having fun?) Would definitely recommend this.
