Plenty of open heathland to walk in. And an ice cream van or two. Can get busy as main car park not huge.

This was the first time we have visited Highgate Common and it won't be the last! The pathways were well signposted to follow. There were many dog walkers and families; quite a few people yet enough space to find quiet spots and not be crowded....More

Always lovely to walk round Highgate Common, whatever the time of year. Much to look out for - from stonechats to tadpoles. Parking easy and a variety of walks.

Sometimes like to come here with my son, ideally after it's been raining so he can make use of his wellies and explore the wonderful nature reserve
