The Crossing at Hollar Mill is one of North Carolina’s most unique historical event spaces and Hickory’s premiere events venue. Located in a beautifully restored hosiery mill, the space boasts elegant high-ceilings, large, mill-era steel sash windows and shining hardwood floors. This stunning renovation has left no detail undone, reminiscent of the industrial past of Hickory’s historic mills, but modernized for today. We have provided an array of amenities and flexibility in the space that makes it truly perfect for any number of events. With more than 10,000 square feet of space accommodating 350 seated guests and 600 guests at full capacity, The Crossing is ideal for any gathering including weddings, graduations, anniversary or holiday celebrations, concerts, conferences, meetings, proms, craft fairs and more. The space includes a 720 square foot stage with state of the art audio, as well as a catering kitchen and full service bar, two meeting rooms, a greenroom, custom dance floor and floor plans, outdoor plaza, and wi-fi for our guests. When you are looking for the ideal location for your next corporate, social, non-profit or arts-related event, let us help you make it an event to remember. Choose from selections on our banquet menu or work with our award-winning culinary team to plan a custom menu featuring the best of our farm-to-table fare.

This place is brand new and needs serious leadership changes. Diversity is completed disregarded. Management rather increase corporate sponsorship dollars than artistic talent! Their first SOLD OUT concert wouldn't even satisfy this management until the ONLY BLACK GIRL vacated the building because she was "making...More

I will try again because the atmosphere is so cool. The hamburger my husband ordered was round like a meatball and hard to eat. My food is always fine. We will try again and resubmit another review. I have to admit that one time we...More

I realize this is probably a "Hickory Staple", but I just did not feel the vibe. The interior bar portion is very small and had very few tables. The food selection was "very limited." The prices are kind of expensive for what you get. I'm...More

Great restuarant with cool atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the food is always great. Sometimes they have live music outside.

November 9th, 2013 my husband and I had our wedding reception at The Crossing. We planned our wedding in a short amount of time and the staff there was more than accommodating. We had been to their restaurant, Highland Avenue, upon opening and were very...More

The venue here is incredible, such a great place to host any type of party. All of the renovations of the mill are quite beautiful, but the staff here is nearly unbearable to work with. VERY unreasonable prices and MANY last minute or hidden fees....More

Certainly a cut above average and a welcome addition to the selection of good restaurants in Hickory. A little pricey - but not too bad. Very good choice for a business occasion or for dining with friends - not so much as a "family" restaurant....More

Re-purposed mill put to wonderful use. Nothing like it in Hickory and surrounding area. Large bar, restaurant and banquet venue. A bit pricey for portion sizes and souring area but love the atmosphere and service, really felt special.
