Several unique planes, flights available over the Hendersonville area. Check on schedule. Knowledgeable volunteer staff with surprising range of old planes for you to enjoy.

It's a small museum but I appreciate all the effort that went into making it what it is. It is very much worth the trip and the guy that was there that day was very knowledgeable about the planes and also pictures and artwork on the walls. Oh' I love the Piper Cubs on display, they are my favorite. The... More

This is probably one of the best air museums Ive seen, although its in a small hangar the history is not containable. The gettleman working there is 96 years old and full of stories of aviation. Please do yourself a favour and go here!! Loved it truly made my trip.

I have been to several small air museums and each is special in that they have different airplanes. This museum has several planes that are replicas of planes that are no longer available to be seen. There is one diesel engine plane that I have never seen anywhere. Don't miss this one.

Visited here with the kids and grand kids. This was an amazing museum housing quite a historical collection of various aircraft. I believe it was free of charge with opportunity to make donations. Exhibits were well done and informative. You can tell it is a labor of love of those involved to make this available to the public. There is... More

We went here last Spring, and I took a flight on the Stearman! It takes you around Hendersonville and a Little in the surrounding mountains for about a 20-30 minute flight, and the scenery is wonderful!!! Can´t wait to go back in the Fall to see the leaves from the air!!!

We were visiting retired parents with high school kids. OH MY GOSH -- horrible weather. Took sons there to look at planes. The whole afternoon far exceeded my low expectations -- primarily because the docents spent so much time talking with the kids about the planes. We've been to air museums across the country and while there are bigger, flashier... More
