Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards is a family-owned operation located in the heart of Henderson County's apple country. Nestled on 10 acres of a land grant from England are panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains that the family has enjoyed for generation, and now would like to share with you. The 14 varieties of wine-grape vines grown on the vineyards at elevations of 2,300 and 3,000 feet, along with the cool nights, develop some the best wine-producing grapes in the country. Meticulously growing our fruit allows us to incorporate the unique character of our vineyards into each bottle. Come to a place where you not only enjoy beautiful views with a glass of unforgettable wine, but become part of our family too!

The experience is lovely. I paid $10 to taste nine wines, and keep the glass. The sommelier was knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint is that the least expensive bottle is $19.95. Most wineries I visit across the country have options starting at 10-12 dollars....More

I love St. Paul. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the wine is delicious! In cool weather the fire is stoked and warm! They always have great live music. It's a very enjoyable experience.

When you visit a winery in the South, you expect to find sweet wine, sometimes sickly sweet wine. As someone who prefers dry red wine, those sweet wines aren’t what I’m looking for. In April, I went here with my bridesmaids for my bachelorette weekend,...More

Karen: My wife is far more knowledgeable in pairings than I am. My suggestion is to ask at any wine store ( there are three or four here in the midlands of SC) or if you have a chapter of AWS. For me - I love wine and... More

The wine tasting was $10 per person, and we tasted 10 different bottles of wine. They give you a small amount of each wine, but enough to drink about 4 sips of each.
