If you're into mountain biking, this place is for you. Lots of trails and varying skill levels. Can also walk the paths if you prefer hiking. Small pond for fishing. Plenty of parking and restrooms

Great trail system! Plenty of parking. Great for hiking and running, and just outside of town. What a surprise!

I love running here and letting the kids kick the soccer ball around. It's a good place for fitness and the trails are AWESOME. Dog parks cool, I just dont have a dog, but it looks huge. They have horse shoe spots, play ground, plenty of fields and sidewalk to run on and a bike/skate park type of deal, though I probably wouldn't want to skateboard there. More for inline or bicycles. I run here 2-3 times a week and rarely (if) ever have a bad experience.

Great dog park. There is not much signage for the park. So, if you are coming from downtown Lowell, make an immediate right turn after you make the left off the main road. The park is nestled at the very back of the park, overlooking the soccer field. The dog park is huge, separated for small and large dogs, and has safe double doored entrances and exits. Dog waste stations with free poop bags dot the park on both sides. There is a fresh water station with bucket and hose. I always take my dog's personal bowl so the hose and spigot are nice. Plenty of places for dog parents to sit. The only downside is the dog owners who refuse to clean up after their dogs. No excuse! There are plenty of bags and waste cans. A nice paved walkway leads up to the park. Safe area.

no one follows the rules. people bring unsocialized dogs that are dangerous, people leave dogs unattended, dogs that lack proper vaccinations, dogs that have infections and diseases. even saw a dog with red mange there before. not a safe place for your dog..

Had a great time walking some of the trails with the family and dog. They have a cool looking pump park for bikes and skateboards too. Wish the playground equipment would work for older kids. Doesn't get very crowded so fun to visit about anytime.

Soccer tournament was held here and the fields were well kept. Even though there were so many people the fields and bathrooms were kept clean the entire time!

We were here for a tournament, and discovered what a nice park this is. It has four lighted soccer fields and four lighted baseball fields, plus a playground and a really cool new "pump track" for cycling enthusiasts. It also has a volleyball court, 2 covered picnic shelters, miles of hiking-biking trails, a paved greenway, a fishing lake with pier, a dog park and even a concession stand. The park is neat, clean, well maintained and attractive. It's a gem in Gaston County.

We take our dog here for some unrestrained exercise. She lives running and being with other dogs. There are two areas depending on the dog's size/weight. There is water available so the dogs can stay hydrated. There are also walking trails, fishing, bikes, baseball, soccer, horseshoes, and other things to do at the park.
