This is our favorite waterfall . It is a lot of steps but so worth it. My family has been hiking Mingo Falls for over 10 years. It is always a must.

The parking lot/surrounding area is very run down and trashy, but once you climb the many steps and walk the total of .4 mile to the falls they are breathtaking! Be carefull as steps and path cans be slippery and walkway has many rock obstacles...More

Great hike for those camping or staying in Cherokee. Easy hike up to the falls. Fun place for older kids to climb up close to the falls. Worth the time for a quick morning or afternoon excursion.

yes. then you'll have to walk up to the fall from the parking lot.
