The U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) is dedicated to the promotion of the active, outdoor lifestyle. Since 2006, the USNWC has been promoting access to the outdoors for all levels of participants through its all-day pass programs, instruction, leadership school as well as festivals, races and other outdoor events. Whether you visit the Center's 700 acres on the Catawba River or participate in the offsite programs featured throughout the United States, the USNWC wants you to play, relax and learn outside.

My family loves going to the White Water Center. The rapids are so much fun along with paddleboarding, mountain biking, live music, etc. Plan on spending the whole day!

Visiting the whitewater center is a great choice for a variety of activities from zip lining, to water sports, hiking, mountain biking. The venue is also great to listen to music on Thursday's during the summer. Good food too!

They told us no flip flops & honestly after experiencing the whitewater rafting I would NOT wear flip flops it's like going through a washing machine 😉👍 lots of turns & dips into the water so you're bound to lose a flip... More
