Great place to go, lots is activities they have solid organization on how to get as many "river" rides as possible. When not on the whitewater course you can still do lots of other activities.

This is really a lovely facility and we've had a few fun experiences but there are two things that bug me. The folks running the parking situation are downright mean. I get it, you're parking a bunch of people really fast but please do so with a smile and without barking orders. And on the inside get ready to wait... More

The USNWC is a pretty awesome place to go. It is a very family friendly place that is open year round. However, the most popular times to go is when the weather is warm. They have different daily passes but if you want to do everything, its about $60. The season pass (for a calendar year) is $200, which is... More

There are so many activities for the entire family everyone is bound to be happy. Check age requirements via their website. Beginner ropes courses are a good place to start for land activities. There is a free, low to the ground ropes course and no gear needed. If you want to check it out before you purchase a pass, bring... More

There is plenty to do for all ages and various fitness levels - rafting, zip lines, rock walls, music, beer garden, and people watching. There are hiking and mountain bike trails and challenge courses and... More

This is by far my favorite place to go in Charlotte! It has something for everyone, whether you want to just sit & people watch or be active all day. White water rafting, ziplining, ropes courses, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking (flat water & white water), rockwall climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and on & on! The biergarden is phenomenal & serves... More

Anyone can have a good time here. There's so much for the active person(whitewater rafting, ropes course, paddleboard, kayaking, ziplines, mountain bike trails..) or you can just hangout and grab a beer while you lounge. It's really so good for everyone and anyone. If you plan to visit more than once or twice, just scoop a season pass and save... More
