I had never heard of this place, and saw an ad for it in a tourist mag at the hotel. What attracted me to it was that, as a centerpiece, it has the US Airways plane that Sully Sullenberger landed in the Hudson River in 2009. It was awesome to see this plane dubbed "miracle on the Hudson." There's also... More

Most of the Carolinas Aviation Museum is now devoted to the Sully Sullenberger Exhibit, which includes the airplane that ended up in the Hudson River (bound for Charlotte), videos, and most interesting of all, personal belongings of the passengers and crew. Well worth a two-hour visit!

If you are in Charlotte and have some time this is a must see. It has the Hudson River aircraft complete. Also there is an 727 simulator that you can walk through, a f4 cockpit that you can get in. You can spend hours looking will definitely go back.

If your interested in aviation history and want to see a nice example of aircraft in a smaller setting, this is the place. It also has the plane that Captain Sullenberger landed on the Hudson River.

This museum is one of that attractions that you HAVE to go if you find yourself in Charlotte. It is a small museum, there not much to see. However, despite of the little quantity to see, the quality is great. Great aviation crafts! loved it!

Not good value as there is not a lot to see. The star attraction is the 'Miracle on the Hudson' aircraft. Staff are volunteers and knowledgeable which is great.

I liked seeing all the planes. I liked the plane from the Miracle on the Hudson the most. Very impressed with the video of some of the survivor's statements. There are a few planes outside that can not be seen close up normally. Not sure when they are available to the public?

This a smaller aviation museum. Before you make a decision remember good things come in small packages. The center of this museum is passenger plane that landed in Hudson River. Great sight to see along with a very interesting movie. I learned more details about this crash than I ever knew. Other planes here are also interesting. Staff on hand... More

This is a must do! If you are into aviation, this museum is for you! The US Airways exhibit is incredible in addition to all of the other aircraft that there are to offer. The staff is amazing and is willing to explain everything to you.
