This is an extremely beautiful medium size park in Uptown Charlotte. They should develop several similar ones throughout other areas of the city. It is indeed the best one in the city. Freedom Park somewhat reminds me of a very small version of Prospect Park...More

This is a beautiful park. You can stroll around, hit the playground or bike. There are shows during the summer and a lot of people were out there taking pictures some family portraits and Christmas pictures. I really liked walking alone the pond.

On the route of the Sugar Creek Greenway this park is recreational delight. There’s something going on no matter where you look. Kids, ducks, bicycles and volleyballs abound. Walking distance. To East Boulevard eateries and businesses. Ample parking and well policed.

Freedom Park is really a great park. The lake in the park and the fountain makes up for a great visit. You can find rental bikes which is so much fun.

We enjoyed the colors of the changing trees, the serenity of the setting, the diversity of people walking, fishing, skateboarding, biking, jogging, taking family photos. Looks like a nice place to listen to music too, cant wait to see the lineup for 2019.

Freedom Park is absolutely the best park in downtown Charlotte. It's amazing to run, walk, skate or just relax with friends. There are soccer and volley fields, football and baseball training areas. It's also equipped with BBQ grills and sharing bikes. Very suggested.

It's hard to not enjoy Freedom Park. From the festivals they have, to just hanging out w a picnic, walking your dog or rollerblading. Plenty of parking during non festival times.
