Beautiful art, peaceful entertainment

A beautiful facility and FREE on Wed. night. Nice option for out of towners. Not far from the central downtown, within walking distance to most hotels downtown.

The museum was good. Nice, easy to find. Price not too bad. Just thought there would be exhibits on each floor, but really only on a couple floors. Daughter really liked it, as someone who is studying art in high school. I wouldn't go back, as once is enough

If you are a Bank of America credit card holder the first weekend of the month is free. The exhibits were clean and fresh. We enjoyed the experience and will be back.

This was not as large as I expected. But it was an enjoyable hour looking at a wide range of art formats and periods. The overall space is nice and includes a lot more than the galleries. Open late and free on Wed.

While on business, I had an extra day to kill before flying back home so I decided to visit a couple of museums. As a creative person, I enjoy both classic and modern art and this place has some very interesting pieces. My favourite part would be the light exhibits. Although I enjoyed this place a lot, I wish there... More

North Carolina has had a long reputation for its crafts and the Mint does a wonderful job showcasing international artists in these fields. I found the pottery, woodworking, and glass sculptures to be state-of-the-art. If I were to make a recommendation of an artist they need, it would be Dale Chihuly.

The uptown Mint Museum holds an incredible array of exhibits of fine crafts including glass, pottery, wood, jewelery, etc. If you like the fine arts and crafts, you will love the exhibits of some of the most skilled artisans in this country. It is not to be missed!

This was a great find, with awesome art from local and global artists. There is a free shuttle to their second location but we didn't have time to check it out. We did receive a discount on admission because we had been to the art museum next door already. You will need an hour or two to see everything. There... More

This is a really wonderful museum. My favorite part was the room dedicated to the American history of art. It is amazing seeing where our nation has been and where it is going.
