Blythe landing off NC 73 is hosting the annual big mouth bass fishing tournament from May 10-12 this weekend. Preparations are already in progress. So, stop by to check it out or catch a trophy bass!

If you like sailing, this is the place where you want to go. Many out of town-ers are flooded in the summer. There are tournaments after tournaments and good food in area restaurants.

Lake Norman is a large, beautiful lake with seemingly endless fingers and coves where you can get away from the crowds. Lots of nice places to stop for a walk with the dogs when we’re traveling, like just off the bridge on 1-77.

Taken boat there several times for the day...Water side restaurants to choose from. Ramp is wide and has plenty or spaces to park...Plenty of water and views...Little rough on windy day with many boats...

Try Airbnb or VRBO if you are looking to rent a house. If you specifically want something right on the water make sure and specify that in your search. Good luck, and enjoy! It's a beautiful place!
