Only good for younger children. Taking older children there was not enough involvement or presentations readily available. The park was the best park about the nature center. Save your money and go to Greensboro Science Center or NC ZOO.

We came here for something new to see. Took the bird hike and learned quite about the local birds and plants. Guide was very nice. Spent more time here than I thought we would. Will defiantly go back.

I loved it. It's perfect for kids and families. I wouldn't recommend the planetarium show for kids under 6 but I was enjoyed it. They have live animal exhibits and bee hives and a lovely outdoor area. We managed to spend a couple of hours...More

Myself and 3 other moms took our 8 kids there ranging in ages from 3 to 6. We spent 2 hours there and most of it was spent outside in the Backyard Play area. There is also a short nature trail that walks a loop...More

Went here with my granddaughter's class trip and I took along my two year old grandson. They both enjoyed the reptiles, butterflies and insects.

We met a relative here for something to do on a rainy day in Charlotte. It's decidedly a children's museum, but all 3 adults enjoyed it as well. We saw an IMAX show and especially enjoyed the aquatic exhibits. Lovely little museum.

A Charlotte staple if you have kids. Beautiful butterfly dome. Small store and great water feature where the kids can learn about weather and get their hands wet!

The boys had fun looking at all the animals and playing in the interactive areas. The outdoor space is very nice, too. It is a bit small, but worth a visit.

Took our 3 year old. He liked the tunnels, and outdoor park. For $8 dollars a piece, we will pass next time. The website makes it to be much larger than it is. Some live animals, but most are stuffed. Spent 45 minutes, and it...More

There are many indoor displays, not so many outdoors, but lots of play and discovery areas outside, picnic area, interactive and fun for ages to about 8yrs. Lots to enjoy, hope you'll try it.

The displays are mostly inside a building, but the play area is mostly outside - my grandsons ages 4 years and 18 months just loved playing there with the wheel barrows and logs, etc., and there is a nice deck where you can... More
