We went on a rainy Tuesday when the art galleries wanted to visit turned out to be closed. We quite enjoyed ourselves and we are a couple of 60+ folks! There was a special exhibit of frogs and a display of artworks composed of things...More

For those with children of any age, this is "must do" when visiting Charlotte, and for Charlotte families, a membership is well worth the investment. It is a shame that the cost of a visit makes it inaccessible to many, but if you can get...More

We had a nice time at Discovery Place Science however, my children are older so some of the attractions didn't keep their attention for very long. It was also pretty pricey for a family of four just to walk around and look at science toys...More

Took my daughter here without really knowing much about the place. We had an awesome time! You need at least 1/2 to an entire day. There is a food court here with outstanding food. You will need about $15 for each adult or teen and...More

It is a wonderful place for adults and children, but especially for children it is a perfect way to introduce them to the wonders of science. There is plenty of parking in the lot across the road.

It has been a while, but our memories shared with our granddaughter will always bring a smile to us. She had the time of her life. We returned a couple years later and even though she was a little older than most she enjoyed it.

A single senior ticket for the museum only is $15 or $20 with the IMAX included. You would need to contact them directly for the membership and group discounts.

Might not be enough for them if they are not into animals. They do have an IMAX theatre that shows some cool movies. Ex. Dirtbike, airplane stuff.
