We were passing through Cashiers and stopped by the Cashiers Farmers Market briefly. What a great little market! I was especially excited to see the fresh nut butters. We will definitely be back when we have more time and when summer in in full swing to take advantage of summer produce. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the... More

So glad we stopped here on Saturday afternoon. It's October so pumpkins and gourds were everywhere along with various price points. There is something for everyone. There were fresh baked pies, cookies and cupcakes, as well as North Carolina fresh apples. Fresh meats, sauces and jars and jars of jams and jellies. This is an upscale market that draws quite... Fresh fish, beautiful and fresh fruits and vegetables, good selection and jams on the day we were there they had a basket. Full of local chantrel mushrooms. They also sell BBQ that is recommended by locals.

My husband and I swung in here on the way out of town, and wish we would have done so earlier! It was a fun place to look around and buy a homemade pie or some fresh produce. I definitely recommend going in at the start of your stay in Cashiers.

During our visit to Sapphire we stopped by to buy some local produce. I did think it was a little pricey but the store was filled with tasty goods. I did purchase a locally produced pottery cup which was a good price at $12.99. Good for a local produce.

We love this area and this store. On the main corner with all kinds of interesting foods and local flavor! Inspired: the old signs Atmosphere: upscale General Store Food and drink: you name it, they have it - including wine Parking: easy and free in front Discovered: driving by for years Return: we will every chance we get!

This may be more than you imagined. Yes, they have fresh produce, wonderful local condiments. However, the atmosphere is worth the visit. As a real estate broker, clients want to know where to eat. Well, adjoining the market and owned by the same people is "On The Side" which is a barbeque place. WOW!!! Shop and eat some great barbeque! The... More

Interesting place. Not inexpensive but produce and meats were good. While we did not eat there the barbecue looked and smelled delicious and there was a long line. Fun place to visit and has some interesting items. Great place for kids with a nice picnic area
