Great opportunity to see big cats up close. We had a fantastic tour guide (Kevin)- He was funny and informative. We went on the 10:30 Adult Adventure and had a great time. The coolest part was when they get the lions to roar. Amazing!

First of all, the directions said not to use your GPS, but to use Google Maps which got us to the right place. You also need to have a reservation in advance for the tour. There are many different tours to choose from depending on...More

Amazing close up place to view big cats! The center has a variety of animals they've rescued and rehabilitating.

We have tickets for the 11.30 tour on Easter Sunday. Our next stop is Asheville. I would like to know 1) is there anyplace to eat that will be open for lunch that day- and 2) is there any must-see sights or stops to plan between Burlington and Asheville? thanks!

There are Cracker Barrels on I-40 along your route that will be open. Hotel restaurants will likely be open as well. Greensboro is about 30 minutes from Burlington, so hope that helps you find somewhere to eat.

How long is the walk on the adult tour? in miles, not times.

It's about a mile long of a rocky walkway. You can pay $5 extra to have a seat in a golf cart to still do the tour.
