A very enjoyable visit, we both saw items totally new to us. Since it is a rotational series of exhibits, it's always worth looking into. For a small venue, it has a lot to offer.

Went here based on the reviews and the photos of some of the exhibits. This is a really nice facility and it was relaxing to walk through. One wing of the gallery was closed due to getting ready for a new exhibit, and what was on the open side was not exactly of interest to me, so I was slightly disappointed. Can't really complain though as the admission is free. I'm hoping to get back when the new exhibit on native and aboriginal peoples and art opens in July. Definitely worth spending some relaxation time here.

Stopped by to see the collection one afternoon. Its a small 2 floor gallery, if you are interested in the visual arts, stop by. The staff do a good job in greeting, informing and answering questions. In Downtown Boone, It is right next to and run by App State.

First of all, let me say that I'm an arts professional, so I am not entirely biased in my review. The Turchin's facilities and building itself are wonderful-- it is actually a very large space with lots of great room for exhibitions, so they are quite well-off in this case. And it's wonderful that their affiliation with ASU allows students and visitors alike to enjoy the visual arts-- kudos for this! But the exhibitions on view there (I've seen two rotations only, so cannot comment more than that) are a mixed-bag. One is fantastic-- the other, quite amateur. I am pleased that the Turchin is able to show such a wide variety of arts, but their quality could be raised overall.

The art exhibits are always arranged interestingly. I have been a few times and every trip was worth the time. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The venue is ideal for a social gathering.

We really enjoyed this Art Center. The artists that were featured were displayed in separate rooms so you could see more than 1 piece of art. They were artist that we did not know, but were fantastic.

We stopped by to see an Art Exhibit on evening in May 2017. Its a small 2 floor gallery but the lighting and placement of the art can relax you as you stroll... if you have 45 mins to kill this a wonderful place to experience. The staff does a great job to greet, inform and answer any need information. This is in the heart of Downtown Boone and there are plenty of places to eat and even Ice Cream and shopping too. Is run by App State.

My husband and I recently visited Boone for the weekend and enjoyed touring the Turchin Center. There are many types of art to enjoy, from modern pieces to more impressionistic works. The location is convenient to downtown. We enjoyed touring the Center, and then walking in the downtown area for shopping and luch.

This is supposed to be an art museum? They have 20 times more art in storage than they have on display...all it is, is a very large empty building.

The Turchin Center is a fabulous facility with many different exhibits. The current glass exhibit by Jennifer Hecker is fabulous and not to be missed.
