Small but a must see

It is very small but a must see. You do have to pay to get in. The legend surrounding blowing rock is very interesting. Great for photos!

Going to The Blowing Rock was a delightful experience for my husband and I. We walked the grounds, climbed the rock, and visited the shop. I highly recommend this during your visit to Blowing Rock, NC.

Overpriced for what you get. The view is great but you can get it free many places, the water falls about ten feet, the garden is small and mediocre at best. It's difficult to spend an hour at this attraction because there is nothing of note to see. The best part of the whole place is the underground bathrooms just... More

Nice easy drive and great views of the distance. Charge is very reasonable, and walking is very easy as I have some knee issues.

The visit is worth if you are in the area, I would not recommend travelling a long distance to see it, but once you are in the vicinity it is really good to have a quick look, it would not take long. This is a special rock formation, but the size is not major, so the views are worth it... More

Saw this in the "must see attractions", picture in the brochure and online looks awesome, so off we went. Only took 1 minute after they open the door to let you through to realize we'd been had. You can see far more and far better from below, nearby and anything you want on the Parkway for free. The "trail" that... More

This is an easy stop on the way through Blowing Rock. It's about $7 and it's less walking that around Target. Great views , it's gift shop , awesome picture ops!

It was great to see the Blowing Rock. It has been turned in to a little park and was maybe a thirty minute attraction. Great view from the observation deck!

We have stayed in Blowing Rock many times, but this is the first time we visited. The views were great, but don't visit on a foggy day. We were interested in learning about the legend of the rock.
