Simple amusement park centered around a antique train. Typical set up with rides like a country fair. The new drop ride area is a nice addition and updates the park some. Visit their fudge shop and enjoy freshly made sweet treats galore or visit during the Ghost Train for real hot chocolate. Christina made my daughters day with an amazing... More

We took our 6 year old grandson and his parents. We all had a blast. He has a disability and uses crutches or a wheelchair to get around, but we found no obstacles. He was able to ride the rides, and we all especially enjoyed the zoo area where we could feed the animals.

Took the grandkids there last summer. Did most everything. The train ride was their favorite by far. Great place to take kids.

We had a GREAT weekend. An awesome Halloween experience. They had interesting places to go in and several other attractions. Loved their actors in costumes. We had a really good time.

We drove the blue ridge parkway end to end in May 2016 and we decided to have a 2 day break in Blowing rock to give our 8 year old boy a break from all the driving. Tweetsie is great for younger children, the train ride with the hold ups and the gunfights is great, the girls in the saloon... More

From the train ride to the Shops my grandchildren loved it as much as I did when I was a kid And my Children did when they were young. It's a family tradition.

We went to Tweetsie on a Friday AM in October. There were not many people there which was awesome. The train was great and the rides for toddlers at Miners Mountain were cute. The ride operators were super friendly and let my little guy stay on as many times as he wanted to ride.

Take time to see a show, they can be quite entertaining! Lots of things to look at and buy. My 5 year old could've spent the entire day riding the small select of rides. The train was really nice and entertaining. I definitely recommend visiting during the Halloween Ghost Train event in October. The Halloween decorations were awesome. Plenty of... More

We had a chance to go to the Friday October 28th Ghost Train event. It was warm and not crowed. We had a great time at the annual festival. Its worth a trip to see the park when its dark and all dressed up for Halloween.
