Great hiking, canoeing, camping, picknicking and more right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots to do and it feels like you are in the wilderness. Close to the lovely village of Blowing Rock.

We did the 2.3 mile Price Lake loop which takes you around the lake. Pretty flat & easy hike. Might want some hiking shoes but tennis shoes will work as long as it hasn't rained recently. Great views of the lake and surrounding area.

Beautiful venue close to Grand Father Mountain on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Drove up today to catch some of the autumn color but about a week early. Still very beautiful with lots of yellow and red coming in. Still even without autumn foliage, this is...More

We rented a kayak and paddled around this beautiful lake. Canoes are also available. There is also a walking trail around it. We had a great time!

Julian Price Park is a favorite spot for us when visiting Blowing Rock. We always hike one of the more challenging trails and if time permits we also hike the flat more relaxed trail around Price Lake. We love the scenery and often have the...More

Yes. The lake is visible and accessible right off the blue ridge parkway. Easy to park and walk to the lake side nearby.
