I always make it a point to spend some time at Price Lake. It's beautiful, especially in the fall when the leaves are changing. The trail around the lake is a favorite hike although it can be a bit muddy in spots.

If in the Blowing Rock area, looking to to do a scenic, not too strenuous, loop-hike right from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is the ticket for a nice stretching of the legs.
