We visited for a picnic and had a great time. It's a wonderful spot to stop by for lunch on the drive to Boone or anywhere in the Mountains. Plenty of picnic tables.

Camping on Price lake is about as good as it gets! Camping on loop A by the lake is awesome. Good public bathroom but no showers. Bring your own firewood or stop at Food Lion in Blowing Rock to pick some up. Great boat rentals...More

With its beautiful lake nestled in supreme mountain vistas, Julian Price Park is a favorite stop on the Blue ridge parkway. It’s worth taking The easy hike around the lake. Picnic areas across the street from the lake are nice and well used.

We went to get into the snow from the Eastern part of NC. We found a place that many people had been sledding and walked out to play a bit. We were able to park and play then get on our way easily.

Great hiking, canoeing, camping, picknicking and more right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots to do and it feels like you are in the wilderness. Close to the lovely village of Blowing Rock.

We did the 2.3 mile Price Lake loop which takes you around the lake. Pretty flat & easy hike. Might want some hiking shoes but tennis shoes will work as long as it hasn't rained recently. Great views of the lake and surrounding area.

A favorite place for hiking, picnics, & leaf peeping. The Boone Fork Trail (parking at Price Park picnic area) is a 5 mile loop that runs along the river (easy to moderate), then loops back up towards the campground (steeper). Trail gets muddy after rain...More

Yes. The lake is visible and accessible right off the blue ridge parkway. Easy to park and walk to the lake side nearby.
