Went at noon on a Saturday, there didn't seem to be anyone working at the marina at all. Lots of parking and boat storage as well as picnic areas and a store.

Very friendly and helpful marina. You can full up your boat with gas, get a hot dog or ice cream, purchase a few necessary boat items and use the bathroom. There is someone there to help fill up your boat, tie you up and help push you off. (we give him a tip) Usually a busy place but there are several places to park.

Very attentive helping dock the boat and pumping fuel. We grabbed some sodas and snacks. They are still on winter hours now. In the summer they have got dogs. Very convenient. It definitely will not be our last visit this summer.

They don’t keep normal hours and only take cash. Summer hours don’t really mean people are there. Lake Wylie Marina much better, pumps are on, take cash or card and the people are nicer too.

We love Harbortowne Marina!! It is a fantastic family friendly place to hang out on Lake Wylie. We take our dogs and ten month old there on a frequent basis just to have the famous Sundrop slushies and visit with the regulars. Its a little piece of southern charm right on the water!

This small marina sits at the end of a neighborhood street. It looks quite neat! There is a sign at the gated entrance informing visitors that it is for members only and if you are not a member you are to check in. We went to explore since the reviews seemed encouraging and we were looking for neat places to take our grandchildren; however, we were disappointed. Nobody had mentioned that you are not allowed to use the premises (not even the picnic area) at all unless you are a member. (We were told that by one of the young men who work there). We did not notice any shops at all around the area (except for the restaurant at the end of the pieer) but we did see the picnic area. We decided to leave and are not planning to take our grandchildren there.

This is a fun environment to spend an afternoon! Lots of little shops, excellent restaurant with view of the water. It is so relaxing to sit and watch the boats come in to dock......everyday life at the marine..love it!!!!

Well maintained marina with "ship's store" for boaters.

Joel Summitt and staff treat folks really well.

Nice place to visit!

First of all they don't accept any payment except for cash. We pulled up to get gas and was informed of this but told they had an ATM inside. We went inside and their ATM wouldn't read either or our debit cards so we went back to the boat to leave but without telling us they had already filled our boat up. We informed them their machine wouldn't read our card and it was messed up for them to put us in that situation and they went straight to cussing us calling us stupid and threating to call the cops and tell them we were refusing to pay! It turned into a fiasco that was only settled when the owner heard the commotion and settled the problem for us. I wish they had called the police because we would pressed charges because there is no way they didn't break any laws by putting us in that situation and treating us like that. Stay away! Get your gas at any other marina, there are plenty others close enough.
