The lanterns are amazing! That was a 5! The color and creativity are incredible. The logistics not so good. For the size crowd I would have expected 2x the food trucks. The process to eat was difficult so don’t plan to eat there on a...More

Wow was this event crowded on a Friday night! Thankfully most people were pleasant and moving along at a decent pace. The displays were beautiful, and there were plenty of photo ops even with all of the people. On a crowded night like this, I’m...More

Thankfully, I attended the Chinese Lantern Festival on a Thursday evening the second week that it opened, so I guess I beat the massive crowds. I had never been to the Gardens and found it completely lovely- a beautiful venue and amazing grounds. It was...More

The Chinese Lantern show was well thought out in terms of display placement and juxtapositioning with the terrain. The displays weren't strictly of an asian flair. Kangaroos, polar bears.... For the volume of people attending, the logistical support was poor. Ticket sales office was way...More

We traveled to Daniel Stowe to see the Lantern Festival and we were not disappointed. They have done a great job of setting up the lanterns throughout the park and you can stroll along and see everything from the main paths. There were a lot...More

We went to see the Orchids, but you can enjoy a class about orchids or enjoy the garden then some music. They even rent the facility out for events. Beautiful surrounding and well maintained. Go, relax you will return if botanical's are your thing!

My husband and I traveled from north of Atlanta to attend the Chinese Lantern Festival. We purchased our tickets online in advance but the doors did not open on time and we waited in a long line before getting inside. The line moved fairly quickly,...More
