The Buckeye Center is fantastic. They have indoor baaketball,tennis and workout area. We have 2 kids 6 and 4 and they loved the outside ropes play area. A must stop if staying on Beech with kids...

For $3 a day per person you can access this amazing outdoor nature facility and use there recreational items as well. For us that included paddleboats, canoes, fishing boats, and stocked tackle boxes. Buckeye Lake is stocked with trout March through July, and you're allowed...More

You should go here! You can catch fish and rent canoes. They have the only baseball field on Beech mountain with an awesome mountain view behind it. The best playground ever because its like a ropes course. Nice Tennis courts. Nice gym. Beautiful 1 mile...More

Met here for a family reunion and the room was a perfect set up. There was a gym next to our dining area that the kids loved to play at after dinner. Clean, neat and well kept.

Lots of things here for various people, crafts, tennis, basketball, picnic area, ample parking, fishing pond. I think they may have had a library area also, but do not remember for sure.

daughter lives on beech mtn a vol. fire fighter so her membership is free. I love it because of all the indoor activities you can participate in during winter. I can visit the center for classes at modest fees, use exercise equipment and the best...More

We celebrated our daughters 25th BDay! 6 of us spent half the day hiking! Beautiful trails and well marked! Remember if you want to hike stop by the General Store for maps! They are $1. Enjoy

No, the outdoor courts are concrete. The only HarTru courts on Beech Mountain are at the Beech Mountain Club and that is a private Club with guests of members welcome but you would have to either play with a member or get... More
