We enjoyed the falls trail right at the rec center. Slightly difficult, but great for big dogs too. There are other things to do here as well, please check it out for a great leisurely day.

They have canoes, a kayak, and a paddle boat on a beautiful lake that you can take out for free. Nice hiking trails, a playground my kids love and a very nice facility (we didn't use). We played outside and had a great free day...More

The Buckeye Center is fantastic. They have indoor baaketball,tennis and workout area. We have 2 kids 6 and 4 and they loved the outside ropes play area. A must stop if staying on Beech with kids...

You should go here! You can catch fish and rent canoes. They have the only baseball field on Beech mountain with an awesome mountain view behind it. The best playground ever because its like a ropes course. Nice Tennis courts. Nice gym. Beautiful 1 mile...More

Met here for a family reunion and the room was a perfect set up. There was a gym next to our dining area that the kids loved to play at after dinner. Clean, neat and well kept.

No, the outdoor courts are concrete. The only HarTru courts on Beech Mountain are at the Beech Mountain Club and that is a private Club with guests of members welcome but you would have to either play with a member or get... More
