We chose Beech Mountain because it offered a half day ticket, but we ended up getting the full day one for not that much more. The whole place is very nice and approachable. Even though we didn't get any assistance from any of the workers,...More

Just remember why you go. It's for the skiing. Most of the employees here are extremely rude haven't found one yet that's really friendly. Went to the 5506 bar at the top of the mountain to get a hot chocolate or a coffee with some...More

Skiing was awesome. Considering the weather had not been good the week before, they worked hard to make snow and get the slopes back open when the temp dropped back down. The group sales people are awesome and makes everything so much easier when taking...More

We had a fun time here and it was great place for our kids' first snow skiing experience. I did the group ski lesson with my two teens. Our instructor (I think his name was Alex) was great. Although I had skied before, I needed...More

We skied here after a maddening day at Sugar Mountain. This was not far from our cabin which was nice. This place had a nice laid back feel which was refreshing after Sugar. The slopes were not as well groomed as Sugar but it was...More

The weather wasn't great with not many open slopes. Very muddy and icy at the top. As a result we were bored after a few hours.

Worst experience ever, only skate rink without music, had to go and ask the two fatigued teenagers operating the slushy rink Not worth the time and money

Honestly, I am not sure. I know last time we went at the beginning of March and I believe it was the last weekend. Probably depends on the weather. But end of February and beginning of March seems to be about the cut off.
