On this Saturday this venue was very busy and despite this a table for 4 was available. The menu has a selection of wood fired pizzas and platters. Our group shared 2 of the pizzas and they were just delicious. A wide wine selection was available with many of them being from the winery. Service was very good and we... More

We visited friends in Auckland and spent several days travelling around the Coromandel region. We camped at Cook's Beach Resort for several days over New Year's. Although we had bought groceries and were prepared to eat at our camp ground, we soon discovered Mercury Bay Winery was just around the corner from us!!! We stopped in the Cellar Door cafe... More

We just returned from a week in the Coromandel and must say that our lunch visit to Mercury Bay Estate was one of the highlights of our trip. The views are spectacular, the setting picturesque, the welcome and service couldn't be better - although no table was available outside at first and we did not have a reservation, they somehow... Went for breakfast last Saturday morning while biking to Whitianaga. The menu was small however included everything you would want in a breakfast menu. I had the baked egg with fennel seed and my partner had avocado and mint. Was a light yet satisfying meal. We enjoyed it so much we decided to return for pizza in the afternoon on... More

Where to start!? I first went for the breakfast menu and what a treat it was. The chef even came out to personally deliver it to our table, brilliant touch :) The second occasion was for the recent concert in the vines. I had a delicious pizza and some gorgeous Italian wine in which I consumed on the hill over... More

Stopped here for a quick wine and ended up eating too as the pizza looked so good. Staff were really great with our kids so it was a relaxing lunch for us all! The wine was beautiful and the food excellent. The kids loved their pizza and our sharing platter was full of yummy things. It was a nice surprise... More

Stunning scenery, excellent service and gorgeous Rose (Mercury Bay 2016). Brilliant end to any day and well worth a trip for a quiet drink or food.

Don't miss this incredible location if you visit Cooks Beach! A large group of us (26 adults, teens and children) booked for dinner on Dec 30th. The meals were delicious. The wood fired pizzas were a hit for adults and kids. The beautiful property overlooks the turquoise waters of Cooks Beach and gave the kids some room to wander while... More

We first visited Mercury Bay Estate at Easter last year and thought, wow what a spectacular setting. We whiled away an afternoon with a selection of delicious wines and antipasto and enjoyed the laid back vibe. New Years Day was a similar scene; beautiful day, gorgeous setting, friendly staff, great pizza, fine rosé all with a backdrop of the best... More

This is a great place to come for a lunch or an afternoon glass of wine and soak in the beautiful seaviews. Love it!
