This bay was one of the best on the island for snorkeling, a must see if you visit the island. Lots of great fish life and Cray's to see if you get in the water for a snorkel.

Not to be missed if you are on Rottnest. A beautiful beach for sun bathing, swimming and snorkeling.

If you visit Salmon Bay on a nice day you are likely to be totally enchanted (and that also goes for its equally charming neighbour, Little Salmon Bay). The coastline is rugged, the beach sand soft and white, and the water crystal clear and dazzles in the sunlight. There are even a few curious quokkas hanging around to greet you.... More

We enjoyed the tranquillity of this bay. Clear seas and lots of fish to admire once the snorkel and fins are on. Also some nice pink coral too. Great spot for a picnic too and a spot of sunbathing.

Little Salmon Bay - lovely little beach, crystal clear water, plenty of rock platforms and colourful coral and fabulous rock shelves in the outskirts of the bay where plenty of fish were spotted.

Yesterday hubby and I spent the first time at Rottnest Island. I had read reviews that Little Salmon Bay was the ideal spot for snorkelling so we started our day there. We were not disappointed. Make sure you get there early as by lunch time the beach was packed. Beautiful large open space for swimming with crystal clear blue water!... More

Salmon Bay is beautiful. The beach is very quiet as it is on Rottnest. It is a great spot to relax and spend the day. The beach is very photogenic and is easily accessible.

A great option for snorkelling and usually quite good in the afternoon for weather. Little salmon can get quite crowded but salmon Bay in my opinion holds just as much with more space and beach to share around.
