This was my 3rd visit to Rottnest Island, and my first visit to Henrietta Rocks.
There’s so much to see on Rottnest that it’s worth staying for a few days and exploring everything without the time restrictions of having to be back on a ferry.
Henrietta Rocks is beautiful, and very interesting due to the Shark Wreck that is visible and very close to shore. There were a few snorkellers there checking it out on the day we visited, and if we’d been better planned, we would have walked out to see it as well. It’s very close to shore.
Great history and great views.

We stopped here quickly on day one to check out the view of the shipwreck before continuing on to cycle out further, but returned on our second day at Rottnest for a snorkel. This actually ended up being our favourite snorkelling spot with loads more fish than the other sites we snorkelled at. Easy access to the water, not too many other tourists and beautiful clear conditions made this a real winner. Better variety of fish for us on our swim too. The views are also stunning!

An easy ride and short dune walk to see the heritage building plotting station for World War 2. Views in all directions. Walking down to the ocean, revealed the shipwreck of The Shark. All round, an incredible experience.

We were here to see the Wreck of the Shark, but was mesmerized by much more!
The waters are amazingly clear and had different shades of blue. What a beautiful sight to behold.

This is another nice spot on Rottnest Island, cliffs to explore, decent beaches and ocean views. Add it to the list of places to stop when cycling around the island.

This is an easy bike ride from Thompson’s bay and it is beautiful for a swim or snorkel. The views are great and the water is a magical turquoise color.

It was amazing to see so many rocks. It is no wonder that a ship sunk in that bay a long time ago. We can still see some parts of the sunken boat.
I enjoyed the dunes. From the top of the dunes, I could see everything. It was fantastic!
This is a must see!
