Nice white sand and Crystal clear water!

This beach is exceptionally nice to be on! Its not too crowded, relaxing and enjoyful! The water is calm mostly and the locals are friendly. Nice sunset views over the water!

There's a wonderful beach, very clean, behind it is an area for picnic, bbq or playing, we walked along prom to see the memorial. There's good parking, excellent public toilets, regular removal of litter, accessible mostly and shops to get last minute items or to purchase gifts.

Picked a bad day for the beach as the wind was a shocker- the sand blowing at your legs stung. The beach really is beautiful and I know the weather cannot be controlled. There were jelly fish in the water and my grandson got stung so a small bottle of vinegar on hand would have been good. Beautiful scenery.

The beach and also the park area between it and the shops is very family oriented. Beautiful big fun area in the sahllows with blow up slides etc. The park is lovely and green with shade and clean toilet facilities. Close to all the cafes and restaurants

New Year's Eve at Rockingham beach with the fireworks was great. Admittedly not as spectacular as Sydney or New York, but pretty good and not crowded like both cities. Such great weather and a wonderful night. If you want to stay in Rockingham try ARIA apartments which is right on the beach and park. The food is a great mixture... More

This a fantastic place for a family picnic although it's very popular. The beach had a raised grassed esplanade which overlooks it. The shops are on the opposite side of the road so you can buy a burger, fish & chips, coffee or whatever you want. So this makes the venue all that much better. There are barbeques provided if... Came from recent visit to Cottesloe where it was rough and not suitable for the littlies. Perfectly calm waters here, wonderful park with abundance of shade.
