we couldn't go there but there are road closures 3/2 days of the week every week up until April/march. There was a list on the fridge of the B&B we stayed in so check in advanced if you want to go here, can still access Ross graham ans hawks head.

We took the trek on the Loop in the kalbarri national park gorge on the 31 st December , the climate was not so hot in town and windy as well, but down the canyon it will be hotter. At the parking area it was around 30-33 degrees. Left the parking area there is a simple walk till the natural... More

The view from the lookout is a sight to behold. However, I do recommend walking down to the river itself. The trail is difficult, but having a swim at the end of the walk made it all worthwhile.

Came by after visiting nature's window. We didn't do the hiking but z-bend itself is absolutely stunning.

After visiting Nature's Window in the Kalbarri Park, we decided to continue on the 'Loop' , an 8 km walk which is described in the brochures as being a 'challenging but impressive' walk through the gorge system. The information panels at the beginning of the trail warn walkers of the dangers of heat and suggest that only those of moderate... More

I did not have enough water and when I got to the river I chose to turn back. The walk gets increasingly challenging at this point and on a hot day I thought it better to have walked the ridge and got to the river and return the same way. The walk starts behind the "Window" attraction.

Fairly easy-moderate hike for us when we did The Loop and Z Bend Gorge. Wonderful views all around, plenty of other hikers around, one person running around without any clothes on, yes that was me again but only because…I have run out of reasons to try and explain my behaviour. Lots of bird life flapping about and be sure to... More

Well signposted visitor facility and good walks for fantastic views of the gorge from various vantage points. Recommended - level of exercise can be determined by the party - both easy and more strenuous options available

We had great time traversing down to the z bend. Weather was kind to us with shade most of the way and few rock climbs to keep the kids excited. Cooling wash in the river at the end. Not as hard as rated, but does require climbing ability.
