Great Little Beach

Well protected area for the kids to play or try fishing. A must if you are here with kids. Take a short stroll to the point and look out over the mouth of the river.

Chinaman's Beach is a sheltered beach which is great for kids due to its calmer water. The water is shallow and when the tide goes out, there are interesting rock pools to explore. Although fishing is not allowed on the beach/ swimming area, it is allowed off the rocks or a platform which has been built close by. This platform... More

Situated just as you entertown from the south, this is a great beach. Sheltered from the winds and with calm crystal clear water. We parked in the car park and took an easy stroll to the viewing platforms. Come late afternoon for the best quality of light for photography. The view of Kalbarri and the river mouth is wonderful, if... More

The clearest water you'll ever swim in. Nice protected beach, plenty of white sand for the kids to play in, truly stunning sunsets.

You can just park the car and take in the views over the river mouth or get out the car and walk up to the lookout (where we spotted a whale in the distance) or walk down to the beautiful white sandy beach. While we were there it was school holidays and there was a kids fishing competition. Great place... More

Just across the road from the caravan park we stayed in, Murchison River CP. Absolutely beautiful, white sand and crystal clear water. I swam here in August, very safe beach. Interesting watching the boats go out.

Great little beach, even in fair weather there's always some people walking here as well as swimming in hot weather. The beach is quite big so there's plenty of room for all

Right in the heart of Kalbarri lies this beach and is easy walking distance from town. Lots of great fishing, boating or take a swim in the pristine waters of our Wild West. Take a look at the RSL Monument while you are there and pay your respects to those that gave so we can enjoy.
