This historic village is fantastic for family with little kids. It has original classrooms from the early days and usually have activities for the children over school holidays. Staff are very knowledgeable about the local history and very friendly and helpful.

The volunteers are great and it's a great way to show the kids how we used to live and the train was always my favourite thing at the museum as a kid
